Jan. 24, 2019 – CESO has partnered with Canadian organizations to promote and celebrate Canada’s work toward eliminating poverty and gender inequality in the world.

Please join us in Toronto and Montreal during International Development Week to learn more about Canada’s role in sustainable development through brief panel discussions and presentations by Canadian volunteers.

Toronto Panel: Canadians on Gender Equality and Sustainable Development

Montreal Presentations: Stories of International Development

The events are part of a series of events and campaigns led by Canadian organizations and Global Affairs Canada to mark the 29th International Development Week. The week celebrates and promotes Canada’s work toward eliminating poverty and gender inequality and to encourage Canadians to get involved.

The host organizations are funded by Global Affairs Canada through its Volunteer Cooperation Program project.

The media are welcome and will have the opportunity to interview Canadian volunteers, who recently returned from assignments abroad working to improve socio-economic conditions in several countries.
